AGM Draw - Howard James

Money raised from the 100 Club will be used to replace at least one of the village marquees, which is now in a poor state.

The Llysworney 100 Club is a private lottery that has been established as a means of fund raising for projects of benefit to the village. Basically all member (that could include you) have a draw number and if your number is picked from the hat you could be celebrating with a big money win ...... well £25 actually. The draw takes place every month. But the dream of big money does not have to stop there. Three times during the year, summer, Christmas and spring, a “GRAND” draw is carried out for a prize of £100 each time.

How can you become a member of this high flying club? No need for strange handshakes or trousers rolled up over your knee. Simply fill out the “Application to Join ...... by standing order”, return it to the Llysworney Community Association Treasurer David Edwards at Madisons (or to any Association Committee member), and wait for that prize money to come rolling in.

The cost is £2 per month and really is an excellent way for the Association to build funds that will benefit the village. Plus if you have any ideas for projects within the village then the Association would be happy to hear them.

Please join in. It is a good “fun” way of the village raising money, and you never know when that big money cheque is going to come through your letterbox.
